Caiman Gator

Okay this is not my favorite animal but he is an interesting little guy.  Okay have no idea if its a he or a she.  It is always in the same place every time I visit the Zoo.  So if you really want to know more about this critter check out this page.
This was taken on my IPhone using Hipstamatic settings: Burke Lens/ Blanko Freedom13 Film.

Hipstamatic

I miss being able to just grab my camera, head out to my favorite Park or hiking trail, and loose myself in capturing the world around me.  I was setting up for the lunch rush on Saturday when I glanced out the side door and noticed it was raining. I snapped this photo on my IPhone using Hipstamatic. This is an app. I've had for awhile but have done very little with. I found it to be very easy to use.
Actually I have to say this is now my favorite app to take photographs with.

Romantic HD

Jixi Pix Software makes several photo apps. that I really enjoy using.  The great thing about these apps are that the're very easy to use. I have all of their apps currently installed on my IPad.
I like the Romantic HD app for adding a softer touch to my photography's.
The app is $1.99 at the "App Store". Well worth the cost.

HDR Art

Whenever I go to Oxley Nature Center I am usually there at least 2-3 hours, or until the battery on my camera dies. It's one of those places that makes me forget all my troubles for awhile. I'm really not sure if my photos do this place justice.
HDR Art is an photo editing app that is very easy to use. The setting I used on the following photography's is "smooth HDR". What I liked about this particular setting is it takes away some of the harsh edges you get sometimes when using HDR settings.

This app is available from the App Store.

TangledFX

I have figured out that all my photography's need to be resized smaller. I am sure there are editing
apps out that can resize my photography's but, I just open Paint Shop Pro and resize them there.
I use my Canon Powershot sx50 to take pretty much all of my photography's. I am still a beginner when it comes to using this camera. I know how to use the Auto setting and that's it. So my next project is to get the manual for this camera printed off, or parts of it anyway.
The photography I'm posting today has been edited with the following programs: Paint Shop Pro, Tangled, Impression, Photo Toaster. All apps, except Paint Shop Pro, can be purchased through "The App Store"

Simply HDR

Jixi Pix  has great photo editing software.  Recently I started using Simply HDR-HD.  I have a really nice camera (Canon Powershot SX50). I am having a bit of a time getting used to it so I have been depending on my photo editing software to hep out.

Painteresque and ColorSplash

Painteresque
This is one of the apps you might pass by thinking it looks kinda basic.  I did give it a try and was surprised just how great it actually does.
ColorSplash
This app takes a little more time to use.  Your basically turning your photo BW and adding color back to certain areas.  It's not a hard app to use but does take some time to "color" your areas well.

Both apps can be found in the App Store.

More photo apps

I spend most of my days off with my camera at one of the local parks.  Like a lot of people I take a few shots that seem fairly pointless by the time they are uploaded to my laptop.  The photo editing apps help a lot by making those plain shots look great.
The app used for the is called Snow DazeHD.  It is only available for IPad.  I know most of the country is sick of winter but I have had a lot of fun with this one.  I think the price for this one was $2.99.
